Furever Friends Board & Directors (all volunteers)
I am a small business owner and resident of Leland. I live here with my husband and three beautiful children. I am originally from NH. My husband Brett and I moved to NC in 1998.
I have been an active supporter of rescuing animals my entire life.
It has been rewarding helping to support FFAR's mission to save abandoned animals with medical needs. They get a chance for a better life and I get to give back to my community. Dogs and cats enhance our lives. Supportive humans help bring out the best in them!
I am a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. I am originally from Merrimack NH. I moved to Wilmington in 1996 to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I have been fortunate to work in the financial industry and help New Hanover and Brunswick County families and business owners achieve financial success.
FFAR brought the love of my life to me a few years back. Stella an english bulldog was abandoned and desperately needed 2 eye surgeries. FFAR was able to facilitate these surgeries. Without them she would not be here today. I am forever indebted to FFAR.
I can't think of a better way to give back to the community then to help save abandoned animals with medical needs.
I am a retired vaccine and
pharmaceutical representative of
24 years from New York.
I moved to NC for a warmer and laid
back retirement. I had no idea that I
would get so involved with FFAR to
fulfill my passion and love for helping animals. I was past Treasurer for 5 years,
on the Finance Committee for two years and now back serving as Treasurer.
I am so proud to be a part of this organization - helping with volunteering, fundraising, fostering, transporting
and supplying blankets for the pets
that are adopted and whatever else
